OC Classes are filling up and OHS Counselors are not very available in the next few weeks due to Registration at the Middle Schools & in classrooms.

Important Running Start Appointment Information!

Due to the large number of Running Start students and staffing levels in the Running Start office, appointment times will fill quickly!

It is important to arrive on time and be prepared for your advising appointment.   

Students who do not arrive on time will be rescheduled.  Students who have to be rescheduled could wait as long as two weeks before another appointment time may be available.

Class Scheduler Planner
Available January 30*


Please look at the Class Schedule Planner to view what classes you are interested in taking for Spring Quarter.  Make sure to select the correct quarter from the drop down menu.  Write down the classes and the item numbers for those classes to discuss with your high school counselor and the Running Start advisor during your schedule advising appointments. 
*Disclaimer: Class Schedule Planner may be available as soon as 5 to 6 weeks prior to registration.  Class construction may still be in progress, so information may fluctuate.  Information will be most reliable by Monday, February 6th.

Steps to Register


1.

Meet with your high school counselor and fill out the RS Enrollment Verification Form.  Parent/guardian signature is required on the form, even if you are 18 years old.

2.

Call 360-475-7646 to schedule your advising appointment with a Running Start advisor.  Bring the RS Enrollment Verification Form with ALL required signatures to your appointment. 

3.

Register online through OASIS when it is your date and time to register using your Quarterly Pin number given to you by a Running Start advisor. 

4.

Pay any tuition and fee charges within five business days of registration either online through OASIS or at the Cashier's Office.

Important Information for Seniors

Seniors applying for their AA, AS, or ATA degree for spring quarter graduation should follow the steps on How to Apply for Graduation.  Graduation applications must be submitted no later than April 19th. Commencement is scheduled for Friday, June 16th.
Remember to keep in touch with your high school about graduation requirements and activities.  Notify your counselor if you plan to earn an Olympic College degree at the end of Spring quarter.

Registration begins for continuing students.  Look up your date and time to register in OASIS

Academic Plan 

Have you drafted an electronic My Academic Plan (MAP) yet?  Use the academic planning portion of the Running Start Handbook and a degree planning worksheet to help you get started.  A faculty advisor in your major or program of interest can help you create and approve your plan.
