Associated Student Body

Every student at OHS is a member of the Associated Student Body (ASB). Students with an ASB card are admitted to athletic home games for free and receive a reduced price at away games.

Elected ASB officers and classroom representatives oversee the management of all school activities. Class representatives will be selected at the beginning of each semester.

Students with an ASB card get a discount on various activities. All students participating in co-curricular activities are required to purchase an ASB card.

  • Student Council is made up of student leaders elected by their peers to represent their class at student council meetings. Students on the council are expected to communicate the discussion topics and decisions of the meetings of the ASB House of Representatives.
     
  • Council members are responsible for writing the ASB budget, approving grants/loans of ASB money, and approving any amendments to the Associated Student Body Constitution.

ASB & Activity Reports

Associated Student Body (ASB) funds are raised on behalf of students. They're used for optional, extracurricular events, such as clubs or social events. We cannot use these funds for graded student activities.
