Hello Olympic High families;
Each year, Washington state public schools offer Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) in grades 5 through 12. The letter below from our Director of Curriculum and Instruction has more information. Please read the letter and then complete the form (you are choosing to opt in or opt out for your child). If on a phone, select the "forms" icon to access the form.
Thank you,

May 4, 2026 Dear CK Families,
We support parents and guardians as the primary educator for puberty and sexual education topics. Strong communication between children, their families, and trusted adults at school can help students feel safe and make healthy choices. That is why we want to work with your family on this important milestone in your student’s development.
Schools are required to teach Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (CSHE) to all students in grades 5- 12. Our digital CSHE lessons provide medically and scientifically accurate information using a variety of resources. You can review the digital lessons by visiting our Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Lessons website.
Each year, parents/guardians are given 30 days notice prior to the lessons being delivered and must opt their child in or out of CSHE lessons. Please provide your response to opt your child in or out of the district CSHE via the ParentSquare form.
In partnership, Jeni Zapatka Director of Curriculum & Instruction |
